In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “A Moment in Time.”
What was the last picture you took? Tell us the story behind it. (No story behind the photo? Make one up, or choose the last picture you took that had one.)
I often travel several times a week to the beaches of Southwest Florida to capture the beautiful sunsets, and the photo above was taken on January 21, 2015.
It was another beautiful evening for photos of the sunset along the Sanibel Florida Causeway. With gentle 75 degrees warm breezes, without a cloud in the sky for miles around.
I sat for just over an hour photographing the setting sun absorbing the relaxing moments of a magnificent ending of an incredible Southwest Florida day.

Very beautiful. Quite soothing actually.

How I love those sunsets! I’m collecting sunrises now, if you have any for the sunset & sunrise gallery! Christine

The chances of a great sunrise increases when the temperature over night stays above 60 degrees. If it doesn’t, it is harrowing challenge just to get out of bed. LOL!

Beautiful photos. I always wanted to camp at Camp Desoto near Tampa. Have you seen that park? It is wonderful.

Ibeth1950, I have not been to Camp Desoto Park, however, I will look at the site as a location to visit.

It’s nice. Florida residents get first shot at slots. There’s lots of waterfront camping.
