In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Cupid’s Arrow.”

Write an ode to someone or something you love. Bonus points for poetry!

Cupids Arrow, is mythology that means desire and erotic love, attraction and affection. The image is linked with the son of the love goddess Venus and the Greek counterpart is Eros. However, Eros is apart ot classic Greek art as a slender winged guy in his youth during the Hellenistic period.

The bow Cupid portrays, is the source of power that when shot at someone causes uncontrollable desire. Many stories portray the iconic lover-boy in poetic themes and visual scenes causing people to think love conquers all.

Love is?

Love is passion?
Love is erotic?
Love is life?
Love is youthful, and mature?
Love is whatever ever you desire?
Now, with the various versions depicted over the centuries, why are countless couples suffering hardships when love conquers all?

    Love… love… it’s a magical word, but really exits the true love??? Poetry has elevated this word and we would like to have, feel …. and all de questions written above in a sense all of them are true. I guess that “I am in love with LOVE”
