I have many family, and friends, I mail or email a card to acknowledge, christenings, birthdays, graduations, and many special event in their lives.

At the dawn of the 1990’s, I began using a day planner in a leather three-ring binder to keep track of my daily, weekly, monthly and yearly organized and planned events. During the late 1990’s, I discovered an electronic device called “The Palm Pilot. ”

Within a couple of days, I easily transitioned from the leather-bound three-ring binder to use the device only and I was able to transfer my calendar of events to my new desk top computer. With the desk top computer, I was also able to exchange and received updates on my calendar with my secretary and others in the office. This allowed everyone updated information on the scheduled meeting and upcoming events.

Since I have sustained and kept an electronic device providing me reminders of approaching events. There never has been a situation or circumstances I (Slide) or go without knowing of days, weeks, months, and at least a year in advance of any event.

However, for me the procrastinations of unpleasant life activities like the yearly dental or Dr. Exams is always scheduled and never forgotten.

Yet when the appointment person asks if I wish to change my appointment to a later date or time, with a heavy sigh, I eagerly take the later appointment, easily sliding the visit into the future.
