“Muse”

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Muse.” What subject keeps you coming back? This week, show us your muse.

Photographing sunrises and sunsets in Key West Florida is my muse, along with the writers an especially an exceptional painter Pam Hobbs who has open my eyes to the creative arts community of Key West.

I have joined several of the Photo101 daily prompts and the weekly The following photos were taken Sunday, June 28, at sunset.

Photo101; Day Sixteen: Treasure & Close-up

I used the zoom function to get as close to the sunset as possible using clouds streaming across to show scale and definition.

Photo101; Day Fifteen: Landscape & Cropping

I’ve practiced establishing shots, captured street scenes, and observed the natural world.

Landscapes generally focus on wide, vast depictions of nature and all of its elements, from formations to weather. In this genre of photography, you won’t find much of a human presence: nature itself is the subject. I have edited some the photos to enhance what was a wide-angle landscape photo.
