In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “In the Summertime.”

If it’s autumn or winter where you live, what are you most looking forward to doing next summer? If it’s spring or summer where you are, what has been the highlight of the season so far for you?

It is summer time in Southwest Florida, and I have no desire to go to or live in any portion of the world where autumn or winter forces me to abandon my flip-flops, shorts, and t-shirts.

My summer season is highlighted with visits and tours of Key West Florida with photographing sunrises and sunsets. The creative writers, painters, and many other assorted artist I have encountered inspire me and my creativity.

  1. You sound like a true Floridian flip flops and shorts. Me I love my fall and winter.

  2. I can’t imagine the experience living in a place so many people long to be! It must be quite something! Alas, I am drawn to the cold endless nights, snowfall, and the endless forests of my region. 🙂

    1. I love the beauty of the warmth, and I cannot imagine wearing a coat to keep warm.
