In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “S/he Said.”
Pause whatever you’re doing, and ask the person nearest you what they’re thinking about (call someone if you have to). Write a post based on it.
I was seated with a friend when I read this prompt, and I immediately asked her what she was thinking about and without hesitation, she went blank in her attempt to consider an answer. I laughed aloud as the look on her face was blank. After a couple of seconds of thoughts, she explained she was surfing information on Key West Yard Sales on Facebook.
Personal thoughts are a cultivating garden, flourishing from the sublimed to the unimaginable and suddenly asking someone what their thoughts are while they are focused in thought, takes the person away from their garden.
