As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? How close or far are you from that vision?

As a very young child I watched a lot of cowboy movies and I often dreamed about riding a horse through small towns across the western US towards the west coast. As an adult I discovered Equine trekking vacations and my bucket list has an Equine vacation listed at 59.

Like many young men, I was anxious to live out my dreams from my past, just in case I wasn’t able to complete my bucket list, so I substituted my horse with a motorcycle and cross the US several times and a trip to Alaska. My futures past have come to pass.

I wanted to be a writer or a musician. I am both.

I’m discovering a lot more of my creative side in my second stage of life. I play music from elementary through high school. I see myself returning to my music side after indulging in writing, photography and painting.

If only I can do half of the stuff I did in the first part of my life, I will have whittled my bucket list down to 3/4s. Lol!
