In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Memory on the Menu.”

Which good memories are better — the recent and vivid ones, or those that time has covered in a sweet haze?

All memories whether recent, vivid or those covered in a sweet haze are good memories if you can recall them.

As life passes into the future, memories are tucked away

Yet easily recalled, by a certain scent, a familiar location, or a song

Easing memories to the forefront of thought and pondering.
