“Fourth Wall”

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Fourth Wall.”

You get to spend a day inside your favorite movie. Tell us which one it is — and what happens to you while you’re there.

A couple of days ago, I wrote a response to the daily prompt, “you’re a winner,” where I promised to provide monies to all my blog followers if I won the lottery.

Well, today, I will expand on my imagination and travel with Captain Jean-Luc Picard aboard the USS Enterprise.
One of my favorite television and movies is the Star Trek franchise series, from the 1960’s to present day.

A character I would love to spend the day as the characters named “Guinean,” played by Whoopi Goldberg. Her character is a wise bartender aboard the United Federation of Planet’s Flagship, USS Enterprise.

Guinean dispenses insight and wit along with drink orders to members of the crew who seek her counsel. She is an El-Aurian, a race of “listeners” who are scattered to the far reaches of the galaxy after being attacked by the “Borg”

Guinean has the ability to live longer than humans as seen in an episode when she live during an episode in San Francisco during the 19th where she interacted with Mark Twain.

Her ability to live many centuries, fascinates and intrigues me. I would love to spend the day as her character, to experience history over numerous centuries.
