“From Every Angle”

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “From Every Angle.”

This week, I photographed a stationary subject from three different angles.

This bird is an Anhinga also called the Snakebird because their head and neck protrude from the water, and they appear as a snake when they swim. Anhingas have no oil glands to waterproof themselves. So, after exiting the water, they must dry their feathers.

This Anhinga model provided several poses for me to capture while drying his feathers.

All in all, they’re pretty primitive birds.

  1. The best part of it all was, it is a natural bird, giving the pose for you to click from different angles.
You may have thanked the Bird, but I congratulate you both, from all angles.
Do visit my blog for such an attempt, though I did not participate in the prompt, as I did not know about it.
    Love to You,
    Shiva
