“From Every Angle”

Advertisements

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “From Every Angle.”

This week, I photographed a stationary subject from three different angles.

This bird is an Anhinga also called the Snakebird because their head and neck protrude from the water, and they appear as a snake when they swim. Anhingas have no oil glands to waterproof themselves. So, after exiting the water, they must dry their feathers.

This Anhinga model provided several poses for me to capture while drying his feathers.

All in all, they’re pretty primitive birds.
