“My #1 Song at Birth”

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Your Number One.”

What was the #1 song when you were born? (not sure? you can find out here.) Write about how the song relates (or not!) to your personality.

This prompt excites me as a lover of music of all genre’s excluding most older country music. I spend 90% of my writing day listening to music. I love my iTunes playlists of Classical, Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock and R & B.

After a relaxing afternoon nap, I listening to old school Rap, and my favorite, Funk music from the late 60’ on through the 80’s. (“Parliament Funkadelic, baby!”)

I’m going to add a little twist to this prompt.

I will name the title of the song that was number one during the time of my birth. I want my blogging family and friends to guess the name of the singer of the song and the year it was number one.

The number one song in the U.S. during the time of my birth was “I Can’t Stop Loving you.”

Ok, for my U. K. family and friends, the number one song in the U. K. during the time of my birth was, “Good Luck Charms.”

The first to identify both singers will receive a five-day cruise to the U.S. Virgin Islands because “Your number one!”
