Writing 201 Poetry/ Day 1: Screen, Haiku, Alliteration
There’s a 100% chance you’re currently looking at the comforting, addictive, inescapable glow of a screen. Screens are everywhere in our lives, not in the least when we read, write and blog.
Today, write a poem about or against, in homage to the screens in your life.
As a retiree travel blogger touring the US, voicing my wisdom, opinion, and thoughts about the retirement lifestyle and life in general.
I'm an aspiring pre-published indie author of baby boomer romance and adventures with a whimsical comedic side.
I photograph wildlife and landscapes, mountain, biking, kayaking, hiking, and backpacking. I travel the back roads and highways of America, Canada, and Mexico, documenting my adventures via print and photography.
May I say, if you write, you’re a writer. Since you have words on the screen you’re not aspiring, you’re achieving. 🙂
Well, thank you, Shawn.
I recently attended a mystery writers conference and a successful published author suggested I change my site heading to “Pre-Publish Author.”
I’m seriously considering the change. 🙂
Reminds me of that little light on the computer that keeps me awake all night. 😉 Love this!
Thanks Michelle! 🙂
