“Hate to Love”

Tell us about a guilty pleasure that you hate to love.

I love and enjoy being outside every day either at the beach or in the mountains enjoying the beauty of mother-nature.

I’m in love with the sounds of leaves shaking from a gentle wind, morning song birds chirping, and the occasional sounds of deer, or other animals walking through a forest.

My mind and soul soften with the sounds of waves upon waves colliding against the shoreline while shore birds walk along searching for food. These moments provides a calm, peaceful, and relaxed feeling.

However, two or three times during the year while enjoying these moments of bliss, I enjoy my guilty pleasure of smoking a fine cigar, preferably a dark colored Connecticut wrapper surrounding a beautiful, robust flavored leaf.
Now, I know it is bad for my health, it leaves my breath smelling bad, and the cigar aroma stays in my clothing until washed.

Yet, I never feel guilty while enjoying my cigar several times a year outside in the presence of mother nature.

  1. It’s a pleasure and a treat if you don’t do it all the time!

I don’t mind cigar smoke- though I do enjoy the ones that smell like chocolate.
I can’t vouch for what it actually tastes like when you smoke it, but it is nice

  2. I love the smell of cigar and pipe. The aroma arouses the senses and to me not offensive like a cigarette. I use to go fishing in our boat and loved a Crook, a rum soaked cigar…fish like it….wink wink. I have since given it totally up but when I pass by someone, if I am lucky enough, who is partaking a smoke from a cigar or pipe I take in the lingering aromas as much as I can….Merry Christmas 🙂
