Write a post entirely in the present tense.
I walk along the wooded path listening to birds chirp morning songs. I see a pair of Blue Jays squawking and chasing one another. Cardinals, Gold Finches, and a yellow-throated warbler occupy a beautiful Sweetbay Magnolia tree.
I stop walking to smell the pines and oaks along the trail and to absorb the beauty of sounds, and sights.
I wonder do birds ever consider their past, present, or future? Or, do they simply enjoy the moment with only a scripted plan based on the seasons?
Write here, write now is the best time to be outside enjoying what mother-nature offers.
