How is the year shaping up for you so far? Have your prediction come true, or did you have a curve ball or two?

The past 46 six days of the new year have been great!

I have scheduled a couple of days a week dedicated to editing and revising my short stories for submissions to writers journals,  writing competitions and applying to writer residency programs within the US and abroad.

New to my weekly schedule is Yoga and Tai-Chi classes along with reading six novels so far this year,

The first scheduled casualty was the once a week Tai-Chi class, yet, I enjoy yoga immensely and look forward to the twice a week classes along with taking some drop in classes.

So my online blogging time has suffered and the unusually cold weather has kept me for meandering the beaches for morning walks, fishing, and kayaking.

As the weather warms, my scheduling horizon will become a tug of war between my outdoor activities, yoga, writing and reading.

Thanks to hindsight, my schedule is great, just like the sun rise in the above photo. 🙂

  1. Keep doing your best but most of all enjoy yourself in all of your activities. Wishing you the best of the year.

  2. Being an expat and a “trailing housewife” at the moment I find it is so hard to see what will be “my year” looks like this 2016. 🙁
