Maybe is the word parents use with their second or third born child who asks, can they have a tiger or lion.

Maybe is the word teenagers use when parents yelled or screamed begging them to move faster so they can visit a grandparent.

Maybe is the word couples use when they are watching television, and the other wants something or their attention.

Maybe is the word used when it is too late after something has happened.

  1. “Maybe” to a child means that it can be changed to a “Yes” with enough pestering.

  2. Maybe is a dangerous word. For children and adults. Your post got me thinking, if not now, when? Could be too late. Thought provoking.
