Working in an office environment is essentially a cake environment.
Cake for birthdays,
Cake for returning to work,
Cake for leaving or taking a new position,
Cake for the baby shower,
Cake for the bridal shower,
Cake for completion of a project,
and finally, cake from a co-worker who wants to use us as recipe testers.
I sure wish someone would bring in some pie. 🙂

Marie Antoinette’s sentiment re: the starving poor was to ‘feed them cake.’ I’m actually all for eating cake on any occasion. Are you offering any? 😋
I’m holding off on the cake as a reward to get my daily miles up while preparing for hiking. But, If I had some cake I would offer you some Wendy. 🙂
