“Ooh, Shiny spot in the sky.”

Millions of people gathered in the major location around the continental United States to witness a solar eclipse at varying degrees. I was fortunate to see two sunset and sunrises in one 24-hour period…

As the darkness increased, there was a certain calmness in the air as the crowd of several thousand quieted to take in the beauty and solitude we were witnessing.

These photos captured before during and after the eclipse.
