“Autumn Fluffy.”

The end of green summer leaves leads to the transformation to various bright colors. During an October hike with crisp, breezes blowing red, yellow, purple, orange, magenta, and brown leaves floating softly to the ground.

My fluffy soft wool knit cap and sweater against my skin warms my thoughts of holidays ahead. I consider drinking something warm, coating my mouth, throat, and heating my insides with a soothing fluffy feeling.

My thoughts add to the beauty of my hike and speed my pace to reach what awaits me at home, my favorite fluffy hot-toddy.

Since we returned home 12 years ago, we’ve not experienced the autumn. It must be transforming to see how the leaves turn from green to yellow and finally a fiery orange/red.
