For a weekend I relocated to Northern New Mexico in search of winter landscapes to photograph. My destination was the ski area in and around Taos New Mexico.
I found sparse regions of snow and residents who were surprised by the lack of snow they usually would have experienced around the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
I did capture photos along the winding two-lane roads as I approached Taos NM and Eagle Nest Lake State Park. The only snow-capped mountains was a magnificent sight.

A beautiful area. Better luck next time for snow.
beautiful pics….
Awesome photography. Stay warm. All the snow seems to be in Texas at places it usually does not snow. We are at Sumner Lake State Park.
Oh the skies are beautiful indeed and blue. A favourite color…
