My recent Harvest Host overnight was at the Mountain Cove Vineyards in Lovingston, VA. It is the Oldest Winery in the state of VA, and my visit resulted in one of the best evenings of relaxation with a glass of wine that I have enjoyed this summer.

The open field overnight camping was exceptional, along with not having any flies to be bothered with and the earlier company of the owner was terrific. The business address is 1362 Fortune’s Cove Ln, Lovingston, VA 22949, and the phone number are +1-434-263-5392, open 12-5 pm Wednesday-Sunday. They are closed Monday and Tuesday.

Now, I will say the drive-in was daunting, but photos of the previous fifth wheel and thirty-foot plus RVs tackling the narrow roadway led me to feel assured I could make the journey for a piece of Virginia heaven.
