Human curiosity, coupled with a sense of imagination to consider, dream, or imagine visiting or touring some destination inspired or exposed to a newspaper or magazine article, a book, radio or television, and today’s social media, are the journeys during everyone’s lifetime.

Most of life’s repeatable experiences, filled with nostalgia, like annual birthdays and anniversaries, are all humbly enjoyed, accompanied by love, security, and the comfort of joyful feelings surrounded by family and friends of familiar expectations and destinations.

I once lived in the DC metro region for decades. I enjoyed attending yearly events. However, with so many other different and unique events offered in the area, I always wanted to tour, visit and participate in them all.

But, with growing children, I participated in the regular yearly events, i.e., church, boy, and girl scout events, parades, and concerts—a routine ritual of photographed holidays, winter, spring, summer, and fall.

My desire to witness and experience something new and different was always within my psyche, knowing my limited life on our planet.

So, I have morphed into a full-time RV’er who settles into an area for fourteen to thirty or more days, exploring the details within a small town and region.

I’m always filled with excitement with every opportunity to visit a local, state, or national museum, tour a registered landmark or monument, day-hike a famous trail, backpack an iconic trail, photograph a sunset or sunrise, or experience wildlife in its natural settings.

Because deep within my soul, I’m a child whose fortune is retirement, with keys to a vehicle, a comfortable RV, with fears of knowing I will not get to experience and visit all I can upon our planet before I die.

Our planet has untold adventurous experiences to be encountered.
My travels experiences have inspired my wisdom and the virtuous patients I have honed with nature’s sounds of silence, infusing my mind, body, and soul to observe and absorb what is before and surrounds me.

I seek the humbling love of nature’s familiarity while knowingly marveling in awe of the experience within the various ecosystems during the change of the seasons.

We have a date of birth and a date of death. Life’s journey is the hyphen defining life.
So, fill your “hyphen” with millions of experiences, inspiring family, friends, and acquaintances.
