Once upon a time in a far away city, I attended an NBA basketball game. Seated with a beer in my right hand and peanuts between my legs I was satisfied, happy and enjoying the game.

Suddenly a basketball player known by millions of people all over the world walked past and stopped in front of my seat.

Of course, I was impressed, with his 7-foot plus height, yet upset because he stood still and would not move as the game was in play.

I waited a few more seconds as others seated around me who also were experiencing an eclipse of sight, began to become a little unsettled. So after a few more seconds, I yelled “hey!”

My voice captured his attention, and he looked my way and staring at me, as others look away. Then slowly he walked toward his seat. As he moved on, I said under my breath, “Eclipse.”

After the game, he walked past my seat and apologized for being the eclipse he heard me say.

As he walked past, I smiled, nodding my head in agreement, although I was considering asking for his autograph but, I didn’t feel it was cool after the eclipse comment.

Plus, he didn’t recognize I was the view. 🙂
