“Good things come to those who wait.” Do you agree? How long is it reasonable to wait for something you really want?
I agree and believe good things come to those who wait, although after many years of life, it is also patience, that becomes a virtue, to build wisdom to learn how long it is to wait for something you really want.

The intersection of good things coming to those who wait and your Lao Tzu quote on self transformation is apparent in my love story. I waited (not always patiently) 5 years from the time of my divorce until my long lost my soul mate returned to me. In the mean time, I worked on me: loving me, accepting me as a single person, accepting, growing and becoming my best as an individual. He was doing the same. The lesson: work on you while waiting. As to how long you should wait, once I turned that over to a power greater than myself, it all unfolded with perfect timing.
