In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Playlist of the Week.”

Music

Tell us how your week went by putting together a playlist of five songs that represent it.

I love this prompt idea, as I have a diverse and eclectic group of music I listen to as I write and read throughout the day. My music varies, however, my music begins in the morning when I wake.

Usually I begin with a little smooth jazz. After shower, food and a walk, I look forward to returning home for instrumental classical music for several hours as I write. After lunch and into the afternoon, a mix of instrumental, vocal, and smooth jazz fills my home.

I end my day with a lot of early blues. R & B, Neo Soul, and late evening writing is when the quiet storm music quells the soul into a writing and a reading frenzy.

Below are a collection of five YouTube music videos that encapsulate my week of writing and reading.
